Comprised of Superior, Deluxe and Standard suites, Thambapanni retreat, Unawatuna, Sri Lanka is set to match any budget that you may have in mind. Thambapanni Retreat rooms are designed to blend with the surrounding nature, the tranquil beach, the adjoining “Rumassala” hill and artfully blending this with modern tropical Asian architecture with a touch of the profound colonial past of the area.

Superior

The Superior rooms consist of beautiful decor blending with the surrounding nature. Some rooms are built trying to keep up with the natural rocks a part of the room decor. All rooms are designed with an infusion of nature. All superior rooms are 640 sq.ft in area covered in wooden floors, a spacious balcony to hang a hammock for those lazy moments to flip through a book and furnished with antique furniture of Dutch colonial origin. En-suite bathrooms, hot / cold running water, mini bar, satellite t/v and air conditioning come standard.

Grand Deluxe

The rooms are designed with the surrounding nature, where a guest could take advantage of the amazing calmness. The little hillock provides a wonderful back-drop to wake up and enjoy the natural surroundings of Unawatuna, in close reach of golden sands and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Deluxe

Thambapanni Retreat Deluxe double bed rooms are designed with modern amenities and spaciousness, ideal for a family. Located in the outer block ( block B ) over looking the main Thambapanni Retreat premises. Hats stands from an era gone by, a fusion of colonial heritage of Unawatuna. En-suite bathrooms, hot / cold running water, mini bar, satellite t/v and air conditioning/fans come standard.
